Milan 2017: Design Week8 April 2017 The capital of design culture is in the midst of one of its busiest weeks of the year. Milan's annual April Furniture Fair, Salone Del Mobile will host over 2,000 exhibitors and is expected to attract in the region of 300,000 visitors. Launched in 1961 the trade fair originally focused on Italian furniture. Now in its 56th Edition, Salone Del Mobile is noted as a global reference point for design where attendees can expect innovative installations and creative designer collaborations. Frequently merging fashion with the interior world, this year 'The Nature of Movement' by sporting giants Nike has generated enthusiasm as one of the biggest and unconventional exhibitions the fair has ever seen.
