The Hive 2 Seater Sofa from Cane-line references traditional rattan work, hand-crafted in contemporary UV-resistant Cane-line Weave. The curved, cocooning shape is inspired by beehives and is supported by a simple angular base in teak wood.  

Seat and backrest cushions and two height-adjustable neck rests are filled with QuickDry foam — for ventilation in warm weather and ease of drying after rain — and upholstered in a choice of Cane-line outdoor fabrics designed to resist UV fading.

QuickDry foam core repels 90% of rainwater. Stand cushions upright to drain quickly in approximately one hour in warm weather. All fabrics and cushions can be cleaned using a soft brush and periodically washed with a garden hose.

Cane-line teak is approved and forested under SVLK - Indonesia’s timber legality assurance system. Treat seasonally to preserve its golden colour which will make the wood darker, or leave untreated for a grey patina over time.

A Cane-line Teak Care Pack can be selected to maintain and restore the golden-brown appearance of Cane-line teak items. Contains 1 litre of Cane-line Teak Cleaner, 1 litre of Cane-line Teak Colour Protector, 2 Scrubbing Pads and 3 Application Cloths. Once applied this specially designed eco-safe water based application lasts up to four times longer than traditional teak oil and up to twice as long as teak sealers. For information on how to use each product, please refer to the labels.
